We booked the superior room at Novotel and it exceeded our expectations. The room was spacious, comfortable, and airy. The hotel's common areas were well-maintained and the gardens were beautiful. The breakfast provided was excellent. One of the best things about the hotel was its location near the autobahn, providing a peaceful escape after the chaos of German high-speed drivers. Hildesheim itself is a lovely town worth visiting. The staff was helpful and even surprised us with complimentary cold drinks from the minibar upon our arrival. we had a wonderful stay and hope to return in the future.

Hotel is clean, well organized and serving a good breakfast buffet

Even though I stayed in a non-smoking room, I suffered from cigarette smoke coming from opening on the wall. When I asked to receptionist, she told me that on 1st floor there are smoking rooms and hotel infrastructure let the smoke go to the upper floors. If you can solve this problem that would be nice.

Central location, easy parking, modern building, impressive lobby, spacious rooms, comfortable beds.

We liked the friendly service at the main desk. We like the friendly service at the restaurant. We liked its nearness to the train station. The room was clean and the windows opened wide for fresh air.

We disliked the fact that there were too few hangers in the closet, so we had to hang four shirts on one hanger and coats over the chairs. 2. We disliked very much that there were no shelves or chest of drawers where we could store socks, sweaters, underwear etc. 3. We disliked the fact that there were no towel racks or places to hang up clothes which we had rinsed out.

Last night when it was hot outside I would appreciate an air condition in the room.

Our stay here was fairly decent. The hotel's location was great, as it was in close proximity to the town center and major festivals. The restaurant served fantastic food in the evening, and we enjoyed our meals there.

The check-in process was quite inconvenient, and the staff was not particularly helpful or accommodating.

The staff was always very helpful and friendly and the room was spacious, very clean and comfortable. The location is a few minutes from the train station and the city center. Good breakfast, fresh and with variety. Overall a great hotel, I definitely recommend it.

Expensive (but good) breakfast at 18€ and wireless internet at 8€. If interested, ask for a bundle at the reception for 21€.

This is the second time I've stayed here and though OK isn't at the standard of a usual International Hotel. It's clean enough and the rooms are large but the restaurant a disappointment.

Immaculately clean room, beautiful bathroom, friendly staff, stunning grounds, great bar, spacious room.

Decoration, quietness and location

Reservation for 3 nights (Booked.net), I had to leave earlier - the hotel staff rejected my request to adjust the payment so I was (over) charged for 3 nights - staying only 2. The people at the reception were having a fun. It was also a problem to avoid paying for 3 breakfasts. Breakfast - late - cue of guests waiting in a morning after the scheduled opening time.

Overcharging guests - when there was a need to shorten the stay. Problems with avoiding add. overcharging for breakfast. Late breakfast. Reception reaction to shortening the stay. Extremely complicated way of printing invoice - with many errors. Improper information on internett access - the reception proposed the most expensive one (not necessary) as the only option.

Located conveniently with ample parking. The hotel had a modern and stylish appearance. The rooms were clean and spacious.

The pillows provided were uncomfortable and thin. The bed quality could have been better.

Really nice rooms, lovely appointments in eg bathrooms. Lovely combination of old facade and modern details.

The breakfast fruit looked a little less than fresh when we turned up for breakfast at 9am. The breakfast arrangement with different things placed in different niches in the building was a little inconvenient. Plus a lot of road noise, unfortunately.

I found the staff to be extremely helpful, this went from the staff at reception all the way through to the staff who cleaned the rooms
